AIDS Health Project
The mission of the UCSF AIDS Health Project is to provide culturally sensitive counseling and education to stop the spread of HIV infection, and to help people face the emotional, psychological and social challenges of living with HIV disease.
Polaris Project is committed to combating human trafficking and modern-day slavery, and to strengthening the anti-trafficking movement through a comprehensive approach.
Children of the Night
The Children of the Night home is open to prostituted children throughout the United States and the hotline is ready to rescue children 24 hours a day. They provide taxi/airline transportation nationwide for America’s children who wish to escape prostitution and live in their home. They work closely with law enforcement to rescue children from vile, dominating pimps. The C.o.t.N home features an on-site school and college placement program plus comprehensive life-skills education and caseworkers are available to provide ongoing case management to hundreds of graduates.
At The Crossroads
The mission of At The Crossroads is to reach out to homeless youth and young adults at their point of need, and work with them to build healthy and fulfilling lives. Our counselors walk some of the city’s toughest streets to distribute food, healthcare products and clothes, slowly developing healthy, trusting relationships. These relationships form the basis of our ongoing work with our clients.
