My night off was spent at Alamo Drafthouse Cinema SF where I was donating a PA system for Rogue Wave’s‘s live performance after the screening of D-Tour. Zach and Pat played a unique variety of songs and it was really great to see so many people turn out for the event. 🙂

If you’ve never seen Jim Granato‘s excellent documentary about Rogue Wave drummer Pat Spurgeon‘s life or death search for a kidney donor then do yourself a favor and add it to your MUST SEE list of great music biopic’s. It’s an inspiring true story about the tenacity and determination required to keep following your dreams, no matter what illness or tragedy may befall you. It’s both uplifting and heart wrenching at the same time. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

For me it was a 18+ hour day but everything turned out beautifully and a really sweet couple got married at the gorgeous Bernardus Lodge in Carmel Valley. Huge thanks to Ivy Hill Entertainment for bringing A Sound Objective in on another gig to provide our wedding sound services!
